Roberta Meade-Curry
I am an AICP Certified Planner, Licensed Plans Examiner, and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Design, from the University of Florida, College of Architecture. My breadth of experience brings over 30 years in the development, planning, and construction industry.
I am pleased to have found a career that involves assisting a diverse group of people and professionals while utilizing my understanding of land use planning, development, design, and building code and zoning code case resolutions. My career has afforded me the opportunity to work on a large array of projects, with diverse sizes and scope in the private sector and public sector. In the Public Sector I served as an Urban Planner for 14 years with the City of Tampa. In the Private Sector my roles varied from Lead Designer to Project Manager. Specializing in Commercial Projects.
As an Urban Planner and Community Volunteer – My passion has always been – Make a Difference. Standing up for the positive initiatives, moving those initiatives forward, and solidifying them into real change. My passion has allowed me to serve in many leadership roles, as a staff member within an organization, and volunteering on professional and non-profit boards. I feel the most rewarding has been to advocate alongside a diverse neighborhood community to see their vision and achieve that vision.
